The dendrological garden was established at the time, and today it has become a teaching and practical laboratory for the study of dendrology, forest breeding, botany and is of national importance. The Botanical Garden is now the result of years of hard work by scientists of several generations.
Museum of Contemporary Art of Ukraine (Kiev)
On June 17, 2005, the first in our country the private Museum of Contemporary Art opened its doors to visitors. Initially, it was a small collection that its owner - a famous businessman and philanthropist Sergiy Tsyupko began collecting 20 years ago. It was based on non-figurative painting of contemporary Ukrainian artists. Then there was a clear desire to extend the temporal and geographical boundaries of the collection, focusing, however, on the art of Ukraine of the second half of the twentieth century, which, unfortunately, is almost absent in national museums. Today, these are three exhibition spaces for permanent and temporary exhibitions (all 1st floor). Nowadays it is the only museum in our country, where the works of many representatives of different art schools and directions of all regions of Ukraine from the 1930s to the present are kept. The collection includes over five thousand works of painting, graphics, sculpture and decorative arts. The collection contains works by more than 700 authors.
National Museum of Ukrainian History (Kyiv)
The museum began its activity with an archeological exhibition in 1899 as the Museum of Antiquities and the Arts. Today, by the number and value of collections, the National Museum of Ukrainian History is one of the leading museums in Ukraine. Its stock collections have more than 700 thousand exhibits. Archaeological and numismatic collections, ethnographic collections, weapons collections, monuments of decorative and applied art, manuscripts, old printed works, paintings and graphics, relics of the Ukrainian national liberation movement of the twentieth century are of world importance. They reflect the history of Ukraine from ancient times to the present.
National Art Museum of Ukraine (Kyiv)
The National Art Museum of Ukraine is the most representative collection of Ukrainian fine arts in Ukraine and in the world. The museum's collection includes around 40 thousand exhibits, including masterpieces of Ukrainian painting, sculpture and graphics from the time of Kievan Rus to the present. The museum houses one of the best collections of icon painting in Ukraine, which opens with a rarity of the XII century - polychrome wooden relief "St. George with life" of Byzantine origin. The Middle Ages are represented by classical examples of the iconography of the fourteenth and sixteenth centuries from western Ukrainian lands, including such unique monuments as "Our Lady of Odigitria Volynsk" from Lutsk, "Yuriy-Zmeyoborets" and "Passion of Christ" from Galicia.

The Museum holds rich treasures of book culture of the Ukrainian people. The exposition covers the history of national books and books from the times of Kievan Rus to the present day.
