The gradual transformation of the movement to the optimum market economy in Ukraine is possible only on the basis of a deep understanding of people - real and potential employees, entrepreneurs, managers, civil servants and other management personnel at all levels - theoretical foundations and of the functioning of a modern economy. That is why the training of highly qualified industry knowledge "Economy and business" is extremely important area of higher education in Ukraine.
To ensure effective human resources component of the economy Tauride region in general and of Kherson, including highly qualified specialists in economics and business are preparing Kherson State University, where this is not only good training base, but also a system of theoretical and applied sciences and related scientific teaching staff.
Since 2003 the Faculty of Economics and Kherson State University started training in vysokoreytynhovoyi specialty 6.030504 "Banking". Opening this fundamental economic profession in our region makes it possible to continue training school graduates Kherson and areas that acquire major subjects "Principles of Economics", and further supply graduates in the neighboring region of South-Eastern region, which also makes itself felt lack of appropriate specialists. Today Kherson State University - the only higher education institution in Kherson region, where the field is preparing 6.030504 and 7.050107 "Banking" (bachelor, specialist).
Passing of bases, training and practice are propaedeutical public authorities, banks, industrial enterprises all forms of property, services.
According to specialization and gain qualifications graduates can seek employment:
- Economists, analysts, economists, observers in the media;
- Economists in economic management regional, district administrations, municipal executive committees;
- Economic services departments and enterprises of different ownership, economic planning, labor and wages, logistics, marketing, training and personnel management, foreign trade and so on.

Applicant specialty "Business Economics" should be fluent in Ukrainian; competently orally and in writing to express their opinions, arguments to prove their point of view; deep knowledge within the secondary school basics of economics, mathematics, be able to acquire knowledge of a higher level; be able to organize their work and for the benefit of their minds and worldview use free time; have the skills to communicate freely with their peers; be healthy, physically developed, disciplined, and feel the need for further spiritual and physical self-improvement.
This geography of employment - almost all regions of Ukraine (Kyiv, Donetsk, Zaporozhye, Odessa, Nikolaev, etc.), but the dominant trend is the concentration of graduates in the Tauride region.
