Faculty of Economics and Management
Faculty - one of the young but powerful, competitive structural units of Kherson State University. Dean - PhD, Associate Professor of Economics at the Shaposhnikov Konstantin.
The faculty trains future professionals in three areas:
"Economic theory";
"Business Economics";
"Management".
Students are offered a number of faculty specializations: financial analyst in management; legal support of business; International Management; Corporate management.
The training of future professionals provides highly professional teaching staff: doctors and candidates of legal and economic sciences, young scientists, experienced practitioners invited experts from leading universities in Russia, the US and Europe (France, Portugal, Czech Republic, Poland, etc.).
Students of all majors have the opportunity to in-depth study of foreign languages, participation in several international projects with business issues, economics, finance, management, law.
Academic training in modern economic specialties complemented by an effective system of organic practices and training so graduates are well prepared to work in different industries. Students have a solid base for practice - government, private enterprises, consulting firms, and public authorities, banks and enterprises a socio-cultural sphere. That's why hundreds of graduate schools, gymnasiums, lyceums Taurus traveling here every year to get a wonderful profession, take a worthy place in life.
Life Faculty of Economics and Management intense vortex research. Its centers are research laboratories of the Faculty "Prospects for economic development Tavriya Region", "Regional Center forecast-planning initiatives." Participating in their work, future economists are able to participate in basic and applied research aimed at solving urgent problems of civil society in Ukraine. The result of the laboratory is the winning students in student contests of scientific papers, participation in national and international scientific workshops and conferences; First place in the international (US-Ukraine) competition with business planning, which took place in the 2008-2009 academic year (Yu.Misyak, O.Voloshyna, K.Okopnyuk, O.Tsedryk, Ye.Litvinov), student H. Nikulin two consecutive years, took prizes in nationwide student competitions in economics. In 2009 Marakova K. took third place in the nationwide competition of scientific works in economics and management. In 2010, A. Spryn took third place in the nationwide competition of scientific works in Economics and Production Management This allows us to talk about effective research work of student scientific society. For students who have mastered the techniques and skills of scientific and research work in the future to conduct serious research and achieve significant results in both science and practice.
Today the faculty is the primary organization Union of economists of Ukraine, to effectively implement the scientific development of the teaching staff in the practice of business entities. In 2007, at the Faculty of the VI Plenum of the Union of economists of Ukraine (CEI), and the IV Congress of the Union of Economists of Ukraine September 25, 2009 Professor NA Tyuhtenko became a member of the Audit Committee CEI.
Faculty of Economics and Management maintains business contacts with Kiev National Economic University, Odessa National University. II Mechnikov Institute of Economics and Management Odessa National Academy of Communication, Donetsk National University, East Ukrainian National University, State University of Information and Communication Technologies Zhytomyr State University, Zhytomyr State Technological University, Kharkiv National University. V.Karazin, Kherson National Technical University, Kherson State Agrarian University and others. Furthermore, close cooperation is carried out with the Kherson Regional State Administration, State Tax Administration in Kherson region, the Audit Office, Kherson Mission of the State Committee, Chamber of Commerce, the State Treasury, Southern Regional Centre of Civil Service to the standards of the European Union, the National Bank of Ukraine, many commercial banks. This allows the teaching staff of the department undergo scientific training in leading universities of Ukraine and to involve KSU in the leading experts economics.
In order to improve cultural and educational work and students interested in participating in public life at faculty are creative collectives: KVN theater; vocal ensemble "Slavutyanka"; dance groups; design studio; theater small thumbnails.
The faculty has its own male and female teams in football, volleyball, tennis, basketball, swimming, martial arts, orienteering, fitness and more.
Faculty of Economics and Management - repeated winner scientific, artistic and creative competitions, sports competitions.
Following the 2010-2011 academic year, the Faculty of Economics and Management received the title of "Best Faculty of the Year" at KSU in 2008 and 2009 became the winner of the 48th and 49th Festival of Arts KSU "Young Wave", a multiple winner of championships among faculty and KVN institutions, participant and winner of the contest of students of KSU and more.
The training of future specialists in economics provided by three departments: economics, business economics, management and administration.
