On the order of Osvita.ua, the URAN Publishing Service carried out scientometric monitoring of subjects of scientific and publishing activity of Ukraine according to the indicators of the SciVerse Scopus database, on the basis of which the rating of Ukrainian higher educational institutions was made.
Higher education rankings are based on the Scopus database, which is a tool to track the citation of scientific articles published by the institution or its staff. The Scopus database indexes more than 20,000 scientific publications in the technical, medical and human sciences. Also included in the database are publications of scientific journals, materials of conferences and books.
