UniRank University Ranking (4ICU) is an international non-academic ranking that examines the quality of representation and popularity of world universities in the web. It publishes its rating since 2005, estimating the popularity of more than 11 thousand universities in the world and more than 171 universities of Ukraine by the popularity of their web resources. According to the authors of the rating, it helps international students, teachers and scholars to find out how popular a university is in one country or another.
A special algorithm based on independent web metrics, collected and processed from reputable web sources, is used to calculate a ranking position. The ranking uses the citation and traffic metrics of official universities of the world and takes into account such indicators as the ranking of the domain of the site by search engines, the level of traffic, the number and quality of active links and domains-links, the number of unique visitors and page views of the institution of higher education. education.
