On October 3, 2020 at the movie theater “Yuvileinyi” as a part of the festival of public history LEGIO Historicathe premiereof thedocumentary film “Kalinindorf” took place.

The Associate Professor Yuri Kaparulin is the co-authorof the film.Attendees learned new facts about the pre-war social life in the South of Ukraine,as well as those changesbrought by the Second World War.One of the central themes of the plot was the tragedy of the Holocaust,as an act of genocideand one of the most serious crimes against humanityenshrined in international law.After watching the moviethe audience had the opportunity to ask questions and to talk with thefilm's directors.
