The project "3-G Digitalization" is implemented at Kherson State University in 2020 thanks to a grant financed by the University of Florida (USA), which the rector of KSU Oleksandr Spivakovskiy received. The main goal is to provide ICT-skills to the older persons to develop their possibility to use modern digital facilities in everyday life.

The rector of KSU Oleksandr Spivakovskiy is convinced that today it is not impossible to imagine a comfortable existence without digital technologies. And the university has set itself the goal to teach older people how to use it. And, most impotently, they can get closer to the world in which their children and grandchildren live. "The lifelong learning is the philosophy of today. It is important to understand that a person lives fully when he or she learns and develops. I hope that we were able to help make your life more comfortable, "said Oleksandr Spivakovskiy.

Also, the rector together with the team of vice-rectors presented certificates to the project participants and souvenirs for memory.

The second cycle of trainings has been completed now. During the trainings, the project participants mastered the basic skills of photography, registered and learned how to use social networks, the most popular mobile applications and learned how to pay the bills online. Thus, acquaintance with modern technologies has intensified the integration of the older generation into active social life.
