Objective: Research on the theory, history, and practice of child upbringing in the family at different historical stages of the development of pedagogy in Ukraine.

Tasks:

• Development of theoretical issues regarding the establishment of the family as an institution of socialization in Ukraine.

• Justification of new approaches to studying the peculiarities of child upbringing in the family of Southern Ukraine in the context of historical retrospection.

• Study of the legacy of domestic and foreign scholars on the subject of family upbringing.
