February, 10, 2015. Working visit to the Kherson River Port
On February 10th, 2015 the meeting of the lecturer of Kherson State University Vasilyeva Nataliia with the Deputy Head of Kherson River Port of the River Passenger Traffic Filin Mykola Ivanovych took place.
The directions and plans of the cooperation between Kherson River Port and KSU were discussed in the framework of the Tempus Project CruiseT for 2015. The information according to the passenger traffic by the river transport was received for 2014 and the analysis of these results was carried. The possible problems in changing route and decreasing the stream of the passengers, who uses the river transport, were examined. The plans as for the participation of students and lecturers of the Department of Tourism of KSU in the cultivation of tourist route of travel river cruise on the basis of Kherson River Port were identified. The representatives of leadership and the carriers of the River Port were invited for participation in the working group participants of the Round table “Cruise travel in Kherson Region: challenges and opportunities”, that will be held in March, 2015 on basis of the Faculty of Natural Science, Human Health and Tourism of Kherson State University.
