On May 19 and 20, Prykarpattia united athletes from all over Ukraine as part of the All-Ukrainian Olympic Day!

Master of Sports in Athletics Stanislav Senyk, sambo wrestler, silver medalist of the 2013 Summer Universiade, 2015 and 2019 European Games Olena Sayko, and Master of Sports of Ukraine, three-time participant of the European Championships and two-time participant of the World Boxing Championships, soldier of the National Guard of Ukraine Mykhailo Selivanov handed over the Olympic flag to the winner of the Continental Cup in ski jumping, the Ukrainian ski jumping record holder Yevhen Marusiak.
To feel like a real Olympian, children and youth took part in various activities. There were sports locations available for the participants, each of which represented a particular sport: archery, javelin throwing, shot put, fencing, judo, Tae Kwon Do, gymnastics, football and others.
There were also races: a symbolic distance of 500 and 600 meters. Each child received an IOC certificate and a commemorative medal as a participant of the Olympic Day.
The Kherson Regional Branch of the NOC of Ukraine, together with the Honored Coach of Ukraine Vadym Andriyanov, students and teachers of the KSU Faculty of Physical Education and Sports, presented a boxing master class and their own locations with elements of the OlympicFUN project for primary school and preschool children!
It should be noted that the European Games in Krakow will begin in a month. 300 of our athletes will defend the honor of Ukraine on sports grounds.
