Personalised Learning Model: Kherson State University Team Participates in Online Training on the Implementation of an International Project
On February 22-23, an online training session titled “Competency-based Personalised Learning and Formative Assessment in the System of Higher Education Quality Assurance” took place.
The training was held as part of the SMART-PL project “Personalised Learning Model for Students Based on the Virtual Learning Environment of Intellectual Tutoring ‘Learning without Limits’” under the Erasmus+ CBHE program, in which Kherson State University is a participant.
The event was organized for academic and teaching staff from Ukrainian partner universities by the Institute of Higher Education. Representatives of Kherson State University also participated in the meeting.
Speakers of the online training included Svitlana Kalashnikova (Institute of Higher Education of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, National Team for Higher Education Reform), Yurii Rashkevych (National Qualifications Agency, National Team for Higher Education Reform), Volodymyr Bakhryushyn (Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University, National Team for Higher Education Reform), Olena Orzhel (Institute of Higher Education of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine), and Olena Yermoshkina (Dnipro University of Technology).
During the two-day training, participants had the opportunity to discuss the essence, fundamentals, and tools of personalised learning in higher education, learn about the requirements and recommendations for developing a course and a correct syllabus, and gain useful insights into formative assessment in personalised learning, among other topics.
The event has a significant impact on improving the educational process and the preparation of competitive professionals at Ukrainian higher education institutions.
