VR Technologies in Education Workshop
The students of the Faculty of Computer Science, Physics and Mathematics of Kherson State University attended a workshop ‘VR Technologies in Education’. It was held by Oleksandr Lemeshchuk, Vice-Rector for Digitalisation, Innovation, Investment and Scientific and Pedagogical Work of KSU, and Yevhen Khomenko, a postgraduate student of the Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering.
The students got acquainted with the concepts of VR and AR technologies, the advantages of these technologies, and the possibilities of using VR to improve learning efficiency. Due to the equipment received within the operation of our HUB, the students of FCSPM of KSU and the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics of PNU were able to use VR tools.
After the workshop, the students shared their emotions and said that they had gained an interesting and useful experience.
