The National University of Physical Education and Sport of Ukraine organized a series of online lectures dedicated to the integration of artificial intelligence in the educational process, featuring leading British scholars.
On December 10, 2024, Professor Rose Luckin, Honorary Professor at University College London, delivered a lecture on the topic “Strengthening Ukrainian Higher Education: Navigating the AI Revolution in Teaching and Learning.” Professor Luckin, a Doctor of Philosophy in Cognitive and Computer Science, a Master in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science, is the founder and CEO of Educate Ventures Research Limited, an advisor to Cambridge University Press and Assessment, co-founder of the Institute of Ethical Artificial Intelligence in Education, and a member of the Scientific Advisory Committee of the UK Department for Education.
On December 12, 2024, Professor Mike Sharples, Honorary Professor at the Institute of Education, The Open University, UK, gave a lecture on "Generative Artificial Intelligence and Education: Opportunities and Challenges." Professor Sharples is a leading expert in educational technologies and the author of numerous scientific papers on the application of AI in education.
Participation in these events gave Ukrainian educators the opportunity to explore the latest approaches to using artificial intelligence in education, discuss potential challenges and prospects for its implementation, and exchange ideas with the international community.
