On November 28, 2024, a discussion roundtable was held at the Department of Olympic and Professional Sports of KSU.
On the topic “Current issues of implementation of educational and professional programs in the specialty 017. Physical Culture and Sports.
The meeting was attended by guarantors of educational and professional programs of the first and second levels of higher education.
The main issues discussed were:
- Quality of organization of practical training of students;
- Integration of modern technologies and innovations into the educational process;
- Research and educational components related to it;
- Improving cooperation with practice sites, in particular, sports schools;
- Combining some educational components to improve the quality of knowledge acquisition and develop students' competencies;
- Proposals from students regarding elective courses and the organization of the educational process.
Results of the discussion:
We received valuable suggestions from students that will be considered in further work on improving and updating the programs. Particular attention was paid to the importance of introducing dual education and strengthening the scientific component in student training.
