On December 18, 2024, the Faculty of Education held a regular meeting of the Academic Council, during which important issues aimed at advancing the educational process, scientific activities, and improving faculty operations were discussed.
Liubov Petukhova, together with the heads of departments, presented the current results of implementing the baseline package of the faculty's strategic plan for the 2024-2025 academic year. Achievements in key areas were highlighted, and pathways for further development were outlined.
Valeria Blakh summarized the results of the research work conducted by the departments of the Faculty of Education in 2024. Her report emphasized the active participation of faculty members and students in conferences, competitions, and grant projects. Department heads shared plans to expand students’ scientific activities, including creating new research groups and involving them in international initiatives.
Irina Tsupak reported on the progress of the winter exam session, emphasizing the importance of timely feedback from faculty and support for students in their studies. She also announced that, based on the session results, a disciplinary commission would be established to analyze academic performance and organize support for students requiring additional assistance.
The need to improve the mechanism for selecting elective courses was separately discussed, with presentations by Irina Tsupak and the guarantors of educational programs.
Irina Hrytsenko presented the outcomes of the practical training and internships for both full-time and part-time students. She highlighted the successful collaboration with internship bases and provided recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of this area of work.
Special attention was given to career guidance activities. Lidiia Drozd noted that career orientation efforts were already in full swing. She presented plans for further engaging prospective students through modern approaches and collaboration with secondary education institutions.
All project resolutions were unanimously approved.
