On January 23, a meeting of the scholarship committee was held at the Faculty of Education, during which important issues related to student scholarship support were discussed.
On the agenda, the following issues were discussed:
Approval of the scholarship percentage for certain specialties exceeding 45%. This decision was made unanimously and aims to support students who demonstrate high academic performance.
Discussion of factors affecting scholarship allocation. The criteria for inclusion in the ranking were defined; however, it was noted that based on some specific conditions, scholarships may not be awarded.
Review of additional point allocation. Conditions under which students can earn extra points were discussed, along with the criteria for their assignment. This approach aims to more fairly evaluate students' achievements and provide support to those actively engaged in scientific work and volunteering.
All decisions were approved unanimously, reflecting the committee's unified position.
Additionally, the meeting raised the issue of strengthening career guidance efforts at the university to better support students in choosing their career paths.
The meeting was productive and provided a clear understanding of the next steps for improving the scholarship policy.
