In 2025, the process of applying to graduate school is changing. From now on, future graduate students will need to pass two national exams

From now on, prospective PhD students will have to pass two national exams:
The Unified Entrance Examination (UEE)
Unified Professional Entrance Exam (UPEE)

1. Unified Entrance Exam (UEE)
A mandatory exam for obtaining a PhD degree, consisting of two blocks: Test of General Academic Competence (TGAC) 33 tasks:
18 tasks - verbal and communicative block.
15 tasks - logical and analytical block.
Task formats:
10 tasks to fill in the blanks in the texts.
23 tasks with one correct answer.
The time to complete the block is 75 minutes.
Foreign language test
You can choose one of the following languages: English, German, French or Spanish.
30 tasks:
6 matching tasks.
5 multiple-choice questions.
-19 tasks to fill in the gaps in the text.
The time for completing the section is 45 minutes.
To successfully pass the USE, you need to score at least 150 rating points for each block.
2. Unified Professional Entrance Exam (UPEE)
A new test that replaces the traditional Philosophy of Science exam.
The tasks will be compiled in accordance with the program to be approved later.
The minimum passing score is 100 rating points.
What do I need to know about the results?
The results of both tests are converted to a scale from 100 to 200 points.
