Digital Transformation, Science, and Mobility: KSU Expands Horizons of Cooperation in France

The visit of the Kherson State University delegation to the Côte d’Azur University (Nice, France) continues.

The third day was dedicated to implementing the key areas of the Memorandum of Understanding to support and coordinate cooperation between the two institutions in the fields of science, education, and academic and cultural exchanges, which we signed the day before with University President Jeanick Brisswalter.

Together with the international office team, agreements were reached on organizing mobility for 10 KSU students, fully funded by the Erasmus program.

KSU Rector Oleksandr Spivakovskiy and Philippe Lahire, Vice-Rector for Digital Transformation, also held a meeting to prepare for the 20th International ICTERI Conference, which will be hosted by the Côte d’Azur University in September.

KSU representatives visited the heart of the digital infrastructure — the newly upgraded server room of the Côte d’Azur University — and familiarized themselves with modern digital infrastructure solutions that ensure the reliable and uninterrupted operation of the university’s educational and research services.

“We discussed with our French colleagues their technical facilities, data security, backup solutions, as well as approaches to scaling and managing IT resources. Special attention was given to the practical solutions the university implements to support the digital transformation of education. This was both an exchange experience and planning for future cooperation. I am grateful for the constructive dialogue and readiness for collaboration,” said Oleksandr Spivakovskiy.
