04-08 August 2025, a student of the 2nd year of the second (master's) level of higher education in the specialty "Social Work" Dyatsenko Victoria took part in a series of trainings within the framework of the educational international project "Traumapädagogik für ukrainische Schulen" ("Trauma pedagogy for Ukrainian schools"), which was implemented in cooperation with public organizations "Dialogue for Understanding e.V." (Germany), "Educational Policy Development Agency" (Ukraine) with the support of the German Foreign Ministry and the Department of Education of Warsaw (Poland). The purpose of the project activities was to train specialists of educational institutions and teachers in the forms and methods of trauma-informed pedagogy, to promote the implementation of interactive methodological developments in trauma-informed pedagogy to preserve mental health and form social, communicative competencies in students.
The result of Dyatsenko V.’s participation in the above-mentioned activities within the project was receiving a certificate of advanced training (1 ECTS credit).
Viktoriya Dyatsenko noted that the activities within the project were really interesting and useful. The participants received theoretical and practical knowledge about the importance of self-recovery and recovery resources (we considered a lot of situational cases of working with students and their parents during war and stress). The student confidently noted that the knowledge and practical skills she gained would be useful to her in her professional activities at an educational institution.
