KSU Dean Participated in the Working Session of the Erasmus+ SMART-PL Project

From September 15 to 17, a working session of the Erasmus+ SMART-PL project, organized by Wrocław University of Science and Technology, took place in Wrocław, Poland.

Kherson State University, as one of the 11 consortium partners, was represented by Tetiana Goncharenko, Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science, Physics and Mathematics.

The main speaker and moderator of the session was Dr. Mariusz Mazurkiewicz, Vice-Dean for Academic Affairs at Wrocław University of Science and Technology.

The program focused on modern challenges and opportunities of applying artificial intelligence in education and research through workshops, trainings, and discussions. During the workshops, participants worked with Gemini and ChatGPT, using them to identify and analyze problems from different perspectives. For this purpose, they created characters and dialogues between them and applied the SCAMPER method to generate creative ideas.

SMART-PL is a three-year project aimed at implementing a personalized learning model based on the virtual learning environment of intelligent tutoring “Learning without Limits.”

“KSU’s participation in the SMART-PL project brings new opportunities for developing digital competences of teachers and students and for strengthening the university’s international cooperation,” emphasized KSU Rector Oleksandr Spivakovskiy.
