A working meeting was held at Kherson State University within the framework of the Academies4Ukraine – “Strengthening the Resilience of Higher Education in Ukraine and the European Union” project under the ERASMUS+ program.
The meeting was attended by Rector of Kherson State University Oleksandr Spivakovskiy, First Vice-Rector Serhii Omelchuk, Vice-Rector for International, Social, Humanitarian, and Academic Affairs Veronika Denysenko, Head of the International Relations Department Yevheniia Revenko and members of her team.
The Rector informed participants about the results of the KSU delegation’s visit to Riga Technical University.
“In September, the KSU delegation took part in the presentation of the results of a study on the psychological support of Ukrainian students and the ‘Manual on Implementing University Psychological Support for Students’ at Riga Technical University (Latvia). Currently, our Riga colleagues are finalizing the proposed revisions to the Manual, which will then be translated into Ukrainian,” said Oleksandr Spivakovskiy.
According to Yevheniia Revenko, one of the current tasks is to create a shared contact database of university international offices to facilitate the further dissemination of project results.

She also noted that an online partners’ meeting with the participation of i-strategies, the project coordinator, is scheduled for December 4.
It should be recalled that Kherson State University took part in the production of a documentary film about the resilience of Ukrainian universities during the full-scale invasion, featuring interviews with Rector Oleksandr Spivakovskiy and First Vice-Rector Serhii Omelchuk. The film has been presented to various audiences, including participants of the European Association for International Education (EAIE) Conference and Exhibition in Gothenburg 2025, which gathered over 7,000 participants from 110 countries.
The Academies4Ukraine project is implemented by Kherson State University in partnership with the University of Helsinki, Riga Technical University, Odesa National Technological University, and Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University.
