KSU Participates in Testing the DigiPlatform under the DigiUni Project

A working meeting was held at Kherson State University within the framework of the DigiUni – “Digital University – Open Ukrainian Initiative” project of the ERASMUS+ program.
The meeting was attended by Rector of Kherson State University Oleksandr Spivakovskiy, First Vice-Rector Serhii Omelchuk, Vice-Rector for International, Social and Humanitarian, Research and Education Affairs Veronika Denysenko, Vice-Rector for Educational, Scientific and Pedagogical Affairs Daria Malchykova, Vice-Rector for Digitization, Innovations, Investments, Research and Education Oleksandr Lemeshchuk, Rector’s Advisor on Internationalization Alla Tsapiv, Head of the International Relations Department Yevheniia Revenko and her team, as well as Head of the Press Center Oksana Kazakova.
The meeting was moderated by Vice-Rector Veronika Denysenko.
As reported by Alla Tsapiv, the project partners are currently finalizing the Methodological Guidelines for Creating Digital Content. The university team coordinates one of the project’s work packages and is responsible for dissemination activities. Work in this direction is being carried out systematically. Training sessions for trainers, who will later teach colleagues to create educational content for the DigiPlatform, are planned. A meeting of project coordinators is scheduled for February 2026.

According to Oleksandr Lemeshchuk, testing of the DigiPlatform is currently underway. KSU takes part in weekly working meetings; the first sample courses have already been uploaded, and interaction with the KSUonline content platform has been established.
It was also announced that on October 16, the annual international scientific conference “Economic Development and the Legacy of Simon Kuznets” will be held at Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics. The event is dedicated to the outstanding scholar and 1971 Nobel Prize Laureate in Economics. Within the session “Academic Freedom and Inclusion in the Digital Age,” results, ideas, and achievements of the ERASMUS+ projects AFID (“Academic Freedom and Inclusion through Digitalization”) and DigiUni (“Digital University – Open Ukrainian Initiative”) will be presented and discussed. KSU representatives will be among the speakers.
Rector Oleksandr Spivakovskiy thanked the team for their work and noted:
“Each of our international projects is a unique opportunity to gain and implement new experience.”
The DigiUni project aims to support higher education in Ukraine during martial law and the post-war recovery period. It is the largest Erasmus+ project ever implemented in Ukraine, bringing together participants from Ukraine and EU member states, comprising 21 institutions as full partners and 5 institutions as associated partners.
The project started on December 1, 2023, and is designed to last four years. The coordinating institution is Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
