Master class “Quoting without plagiarism” as part of Academic Integrity Week
The Faculty of Business and Law at Kherson State University held a practical event on the rules of citation, formatting sources, and preparing abstracts, taking into account the requirements of academic integrity.
As part of Academic Integrity Week, the Faculty of Business and Law held a master class entitled “Quoting without Plagiarism.” Students learned:
how to correctly cite sources;
basic requirements for formatting a bibliography (structure of a bibliographic description, notation for electronic resources);
practical steps for preparing abstracts: structure of the material, compliance with technical layout parameters, preliminary approval of the text with the scientific supervisor;
common mistakes that increase the percentage of coincidences and ways to avoid them.
Following the event, students are invited to participate in the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Strategic Priorities for the Development of Economics, Management, Services, and Law in the Context of Integration Processes” (November 13–14, 2025).
