A representative of the Faculty of Pedagogy participated as a member of the Kherson State University team in the international Professional Development Program for Academic Managers.
Senior Lecturer of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of Preschool and Primary Education, Director of the Berislav Professional Pedagogical College named after V. F. Benkovskyi of the Kherson State University, Yurii Yurchuk, participated in the first module, "The Role of the University in the Context of Social Transformations," of the Professional Development Program for Academic Managers.
This initiative of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine is implemented in partnership with the British Council Ukraine as part of the joint MoE and World Bank project “Improving Higher Education in Ukraine for Results”.
The first module took place at the Ukrainian Catholic University and brought together representatives from seven leading higher education institutions in Ukraine. The international format of the program allowed participants to engage with modern approaches to educational management, discuss the role of universities during periods of social transformation, community partnerships, the development of a new leadership culture, and the social responsibility of educational institutions.
Yurii Yurchuk’s participation in the program marked another step toward strengthening the international profile of Kherson State University and expanding opportunities for implementing European best practices in educational management.
