It was dedicated to the 108th anniversary of Kherson State University.
The tournament lasted almost three hours and was organized by Kherson State University, Youth Sports School No. 3 of the Ivano-Frankivsk City Council, and the Ivano-Frankivsk Chess Federation public organization, with refereeing provided by the Ivano-Frankivsk Chess Federation public organization.
The first stage was a simultaneous game session with the rector on 10 chessboards.
The second stage was a competition between the four best players using the Olympic system, with two blitz games each.
I am sincerely grateful to the Ivano-Frankivsk Chess Federation and the chief judge of the Cup, Igor Kobyliansky, for their fair refereeing.
I would also like to thank the vice-rector for international, social, humanitarian, and scientific-pedagogical work, Veronika Denisenko, the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports of KSU, the dean Ivan Glukhov, and the humanitarian department of KSU for resolving organizational issues. Congratulations to the winners!
