KSU Representative Participates in Basel Peace Forum 2026
Anastasiia Volianiuk, Teacher at the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of Preschool and Primary Education and Assistant to the Dean of the Pedagogical Faculty for International Affairs at Kherson State University, participated in the Basel Peace Forum 2026 in Basel, Switzerland.
The 10th anniversary forum, organized by the Swiss research institute Swisspeace, brought together researchers, educators, and civil society representatives to discuss challenges related to peace, security, and social responsibility. Anastasiia Volianiuk has represented KSU at this event since 2024.
During the forum, she attended the Research Slam, a dedicated space for presenting contemporary research on peace, conflict, and social resilience, and participated in the discussion “Can Peace Survive Security?”, which explored the interconnections between peace, security, and humanitarian dimensions.
