On December 26, 2025, the Faculty of Education held a public defense of the Master’s degree theses in the field of 013 Primary Education (full-time study).
The defense was conducted in an open format with the participation of academic supervisors, faculty members, students from other courses, and stakeholders.
During the defense, the students demonstrated a high level of academic preparation, the ability to present the results of their research convincingly, and professional competence in answering questions from the examination committee.
In summarizing the results, Olha Komar, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences and Professor, Chair of the Examination Committee, emphasized the relevance of the thesis topics, their scientific and practical significance, and highlighted the high level of publication activity among students. This reflects systematic research work throughout their studies and is confirmed by presentations at national and international scientific events.
Kristina Holovchenko, Director of Kherson Gymnasium No. 16 with Language Studies of National Minorities under the Kherson City Council, noted the practice-oriented nature of the theses, addressing current societal challenges and the needs of primary education, including organizing the educational process under martial law conditions, distance and blended learning, digitalization of the educational environment, and the use of artificial intelligence tools.
Special recognition was given to Valeriia Pirohova, who received the highest evaluation for her project: the development of a web-based multimedia encyclopedia “Tri-Subject Didactics,” distinguished by its practical focus and high level of professional implementation. The graduates were also recommended to continue their studies at the third (educational-scientific) level of higher education.
We congratulate the students on the successful defense of their theses and wish them further professional and scientific achievements!
The defense of theses for part-time students will take place on December 29, 2025. You are warmly invited to attend!
