A lecture titled “Developing Children’s Competencies through Board and Print Games” was held for students of the Beryslav Professional Pedagogical College named after V.F. Benkovskyi, focusing on the use of board games in education. The session was presented by Iryna Tsyupak, Associate Professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of Preschool and Primary Education at Kherson State University.

Participants shared their own experiences using board games in teaching and learning, highlighting the importance of such activities for developing children’s competencies and providing an alternative to screen time. The discussion concluded with reflections on the role of board games in promoting mental health and social skills, as well as their potential to engage both children and adults.
