Anna Chmut and Viktoria Petrenko, faculty members of the School of Business and Law, participated in an international informational event dedicated to opportunities for participation in the LUKE (Loop Joint Call) joint call, which is being implemented as part of the Horizon Europe program.

During the event, participants received detailed information on the conditions for participating in the competition, the requirements for forming international consortia, the specifics of preparing project proposals, as well as the procedures for evaluating and selecting projects. Special attention was paid to the competition’s thematic areas, including energy, cybersecurity, medicine, and social and humanities research.

Issues related to the coordination of international projects, compliance with the requirements of various national funding organizations, and the formation of effective partnerships between institutions from different countries were of particular interest.

Participation in the event allowed faculty members to deepen their knowledge of international grant opportunities, establish professional contacts, and receive practical recommendations for preparing competitive project proposals.

The knowledge and experience gained will contribute to the revitalization of the faculty’s scientific activities and the expansion of its participation in international research initiatives.
