The National Research Foundation of Ukraine announces the competition "Individual Scientific Projects 2027-2028"
The competition is aimed at supporting relevant individual projects of Ukrainian scientists to carry out advanced scientific research and development.
Thematic areas of the Competition: fundamental and applied problems in all branches of science related to solving the most relevant research tasks aimed at the technological, economic, social and cultural progress of Ukraine.
The topics of projects for the implementation of scientific research and development submitted for participation in the Competition must correspond to at least one of the areas of development of science and technology:
1) national security and defense;
2) fundamental scientific research on the most important problems of the development of scientific and technical, socio-economic, socio-political, human potential to ensure the competitiveness of Ukraine in the world and the sustainable development of society and the state;
3) information and communication technologies;
4) energy and energy efficiency;
5) sustainable use of nature;
6) life sciences, new technologies for the prevention and treatment of the most common diseases;
7) new substances and materials.
Duration of project implementation: up to 2 years.
Total amount of project financing: up to 100 million UAH (up to 50 million UAH in 2027 and up to 50 million UAH in 2028).
The terms of the competitive selection, together with the requirements for participants in the Competition (scientific project manager), the criteria for selecting projects and the numerical evaluation of projects, details of the procedure for preliminary consideration, conducting scientific and scientific and technical expertise and summing up the results of the Competition, the list of documents submitted by the participant of the Competition together with the application, the grounds for rejecting the application on formal grounds, are contained in the citation (Conditions of the Competition).
