Career‑orientation meeting with the graduates of Kherson Specialized School No. 24
Today, May 6, 2026, a career‑orientation meeting was held with the graduating students of Kherson Specialized School No. 24 of the Kherson City Council. As is tradition, the prospective applicants were welcomed by the Acting Dean of the Faculty of Psychology, History and Sociology, Professor, Doctor of Sociological Sciences I. V. Shaposhnykova.
The Head of the Department of Philosophy, Sociology and Social Work, Professor S. K. Kostiuchkov, also delivered a brief address.
The future students were introduced to the academic programmes offered by our department.
Associate Professor, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences V. O. Hurich highlighted the importance of social protection for the present and future of the Kherson region.
The innovations of the 2026 admission campaign were thoroughly explained by the Executive Secretary of the KSU Admissions Committee, Yurii Yurchuk. He presented an informative and vivid presentation outlining all key changes and specific features of the upcoming admission process.
The concluding remarks were delivered by Associate Professor, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Deputy Dean for Organizational and Educational Work and Employment T. M. Shvets. She invited the graduates of School No. 24 to join the friendly community of our department and the entire faculty.
