In the Department of Business and Law, as part of the courses “Project Management” and “Project Analysis,” students not only mastered the theoretical foundations of project management but also carried out a practical case study—their own final project—as a full-fledged project.
From selecting and approving a topic to the pre-defense, students went through all the main stages of the project cycle:
▪️ defined the scope and requirements for the project;
▪️ planned the implementation phases and deadlines;
▪️ addressed risks and issues of academic integrity;
▪️ used digital task and time management tools (Notion, Jira);
▪️ monitored progress and ensured quality control;
▪️ prepared deliverables: a qualifying project, a presentation, and a report.
The practical case study culminated in a pre-defense of the qualification papers—the final stage of the project, during which the participants presented the results of their work and demonstrated the practical application of project management tools.
This format of work allows for combining academic training with the development of practical competencies required of a modern manager.
