On May 27, 2026, a meeting of the scientific club titled “The Impact of Gadgets on a Child’s Cognitive Development” was held at the Faculty of Pedagogy of Kherson State University.
First- and second-year undergraduate students had the opportunity to present relevant topics, share their own research findings, and discuss contemporary challenges associated with the use of digital technologies in children’s lives.
During the meeting, participants examined the effects of gadgets on children’s attention, memory, thinking, language development, and emotional well-being. They also discussed both the positive and negative aspects of using digital devices in the educational process and everyday life.
The event took place in a friendly and intellectually stimulating atmosphere, fostering the development of research skills, critical thinking, and the professional growth of future educators.
