Tuesday, June 16, 2026

Ukrainian cultural institutions, public organizations, art schools, higher education institutions and representatives of the creative sector are invited to participate in international partnership projects within the framework of the Culture Programme, co-financed by the European Economic Area (EEA) Financial Mechanism and the Norwegian Financial Mechanism for 2021–2028.

The total budget of the programme is EUR 106.48 million. The initiative aims to support cultural heritage, develop art and culture, strengthen international cooperation, as well as strengthen community resilience and overcome the consequences of Russian aggression against Ukraine.

The programme is implemented in partnership between Poland, Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein, and provides for the possibility of involving Ukrainian partners in international projects.

The programme consists of two main components:

1. “Cultural heritage restored and effectively managed with the active participation of local communities”

Provides support for projects to preserve and develop cultural heritage. Ukrainian partners can engage in educational and cultural initiatives, capacity-building activities, community engagement, and preservation of traditional crafts and knowledge.

2. “Increasing participation in diverse local artistic and cultural life”

Supports artistic and cultural projects, including exhibitions, festivals, residencies, mentoring programs, master classes, and training. Under this component, Ukrainian artists and cultural workers can participate in joint international projects and professional development programs.

The program creates additional opportunities for the development of international partnerships between Ukrainian cultural institutions and higher education institutions.
