Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant Program (FLTA) in Ukraine with an internship in teaching the Ukrainian language

We inform you about the possibility of the Fulbright Academic Exchange Program in Ukraine, namely the Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant Program (FLTA) - an internship in teaching the Ukrainian language (assisting American teachers) at US universities/colleges for a period of nine months.

The competition is open to beginning teachers and young professionals under the age of 35 specializing in linguistics, Ukrainian literature, translation studies, communications, journalism, American studies, and English language teaching. Candidates must have a master's or bachelor's degree by the time the scholarship is awarded (July 2027).
The responsibilities of the Program participants include teaching and assisting in teaching the Ukrainian language - 20 hours per week; studying at least two disciplines each semester, one of which is American studies; organizing and conducting cultural and educational events, meetings, conversation clubs, etc.
