Galagan O.Y. took part in the project "SCHOOL OF HUMAN RIGHTS: THE RIGHT TO BE A HUMAN RIGHTS DEFENDER"

On September 28-30, 2020, Olena Galagan, a senior lecturer at the Department of Public and International Law and Law Enforcement, took part in the second stage of the project "SCHOOL OF HUMAN RIGHTS: THE RIGHT TO BE A HUMAN RIGHTS DEFENDER" within the framework of the international program "Transition Promotion Program".

This time the study tour took place in Kyiv and included intensive training sessions on human rights, security of human rights defenders and human rights activities. The trainings were held on the basis of the following organizations: Ukrainian Helsinki Human Rights Union, Transparency International Ukraine, FreedomHouse, Vostok Charitable Foundation, Center for Civil Liberties, Zmina NGO, and Crimean Human Rights Group.

The project "School of Human Rights: the Right to Be a Human Rights Defender" is implemented by the Vostok SOS Charitable Organization in partnership with the Human Rights Education House in Chernihiv with the financial support of the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs under the Transition Promotion Program.
