Teachers and Students of the Medical Faculty of KSU Participate in a Winter School in Germany

From October 7 to 11, the winter school "Health Tourism" began its work at the Deggendorf Institute of Technology / European Campus Rottal-Inn (Germany, Bavaria). Representatives from the Medical Faculty of Kherson State University are participating.
It is noteworthy that the winter school is held within the framework of the international project "HAW. International Module 2022-2025, project 57602998," proposed by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
Students and teachers from the Medical Faculty of KSU, of the specialty 227 "Therapy and Rehabilitation," are taking part in the event.
Our university is represented by the following members:
– Head of the Department of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy, Professor Oksana Lavrykova;
– Associate Professor of the Department of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy, Deputy Dean of the Medical Faculty for Education Affairs Nataliia Vasylieva;
– first-level (Bachelor’s) students of the specialty 227 Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy: Tetiana Yakushova (4th year), Maryna Finkova (4th year), Diana Malozomova (3rd year), and second-level (Master’s) students of the specialty 227 Therapy and Rehabilitation Yevheniia Kryvonos and Elizaveta Barsuk.
On the first day of the Winter School, two lectures were delivered for the participants by Professor Markus Herntrey and Researcher Anton Lainer from the Faculty European Campus Rottal-Inn in Pfarrkirchen, Deggendorf Institute of Technology. Student teams presented their homework on the topic "Gen Z and Health Tourism" through presentations from each team. In total, seven universities from different countries are participating in the project: Ukraine, Germany, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Croatia, and Georgia. A Team building event with various competitions was held to ensure effective collaboration within teams and to create a friendly atmosphere.
