Continuing the celebration of Savings Week, first-year students had the opportunity to attend a valuable webinar hosted by the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) titled "Pocket Money and Budgeting: From Desires to Achievements." Nataliya Nosyk, the NBU’s Head of Public Relations and Financial Literacy, led a lecture that equipped participants with practical financial planning tools.
During the webinar, students learned how to:
▪️ use their pocket money effectively and avoid unnecessary spending;
▪️ distinguish between their needs and wants to reduce impulsive purchases;
▪️ create a budget that helps them reach their financial goals;
▪️ save wisely and determine an optimal amount to set aside;
▪️ make informed financial decisions that foster stability.
The event provided students with valuable financial skills to apply in their daily lives. We thank Ms. Nataliya for an engaging and practical lecture that will help students move closer to their financial aspirations!
