Customer Service Department

The department of customer service and storage of funds is a structural unit of the library, which provides library and information-bibliographic service of all categories of readers with literature according to their information requests and carries out scientific formation and organization of the main fund and funds of structural units of the library.

The main activities of the department:

  • organizes differential service of readers in reading rooms and on subscriptions;
  • organizes the registration of readers in the library, issues tickets to the reader, acquaints with the rules of using the library, maintains a single registration of users;
  • carries out preventive measures to eliminate the debt of readers;
  • conducts cultural and mass work: organizes book exhibitions, literature reviews, mass events (bibliographic reviews, oral journals, readers' conferences, etc.);
  • carries out rational placement of funds, their protection, preservation regime.
