Campus of The Kherson State University is comfortable housing home complex for the students, student families, graduates and students of the preparatory department of the university. There are all conditions for comfortable living, successful studying and happy recreation, active and creative free time.
Every year the doors of the dormitories are open nearly for 1500 people. Among them there are students from all over Ukraine and also from the other countries like Azerbaijan, Africa countries and Turkey.
KSU campus consists of 3 dormitories which include reading room with Wi-Fi, sport gym, the dormitory Council room, etc.
Dormitory № 2.
Is situated on the Chervonostudentska str., 34.
Was built in 1966.
This is a 5-stage building with a corridor-type of residence.
On each floor there are:
- 38 rooms;
- 2 kitchens;
- 2 WC's;
- 2 washrooms;
- hall.
Additional infrastructure:
- equipped gym;
- reading room;
- sanatorium;
- bathrooms.
Dormitory № 3.
Is situated on the 40 Rokiv Govtnya str., 2.
Was built in 1980.
This is a 9-stage building whith a block-type of residence.
On each floor there are
- 6 blocks;
- 24 rooms (2 or 3 living places).
- 2 rooms (3 living places) with a saparate balconies;
- 2 kitchens;
- 2 drying rooms;
- 4 balconies;
- hall.
Each block includes:
- 2 triple rooms;
- 2 double rooms;
- 2 washbasins;
- WC;
- shower room.
There are also placed:
- administration cabinet of the dormitory;
- the dormitory Council room;
- gym;
- reception;
- first-aid post;
- self-studying room.
Dormitory № 4.
Is situated on the Lyvarna str., 1.
Was built in 1982.
This is a 9-stage building with a block-type of residence.
On each floor there are:
- 12 blocks;
- 12 triple rooms;
- 12 double rooms;
- 2 kitchens;
- 2 drying rooms;
- 4 balconies;
- hall.
Each block includes:
- triple room;
- double room;
- washbasin;
- shower;
- WC.
The control of the living conditions performs by the Management of the campus dormitories and dormitory's Administration. A grate attention is mention to educational work with the students. Each month the educators of the dormitory conduct a grate part of brigft festivities and actions, sport competitions, creative contests and concerts, etc. The students governments operate in each dormitory - councils which help to organize accommodation and laisure of the dormitiries habitants.
