Soft skills (so-called "soft skills", "social skills" or "success skills") allow freelance graduates to be successful in their workplace. Soft skills include communication skills, leadership, the ability to take responsibility, work in critical conditions, the ability to resolve conflicts, work in a team, manage their time, understanding the importance of deadline (timely completion of tasks), the ability to think logically and critically, to accept independently decisions, creativity, etc. Sometimes social skills also include knowledge of foreign languages, especially English. The HEI should have its own policy on the development of soft skills in its higher education seekers and teachers. This policy also presupposes cooperation with employers and graduates, affects the reputational capital of free economic zones. The synonymous term transferable skills is sometimes used. These are skills that are considered valuable in any workplace, regardless of the professional field.
