On March 6, 2024, Associate Professor of the Department of Philosophy, Sociology and Social Work Shvets Tetyana Mykhailovna took part in the webinar "Academic Integrity: Challenges, Problems and Prospects", organized by the National University "Zaporizhia Polytechnic" with the assistance of the National Agency for Quality Assurance of Higher Education of Ukraine.
The main goal of the webinar is to increase participants' awareness of the problems of ensuring academic integrity, to get acquainted with the prospects for the development of national legislation of Ukraine in this area, as well as to discuss modern challenges and opportunities that arise at the intersection of academic integrity and the development of artificial intelligence.

From March 17 to 23, 2024, Iryna Vasylivna SHAPOSHNYKOVA, Dean of the Faculty of Psychology, History and Sociology, Doctor of Sociology, Professor, Tetyana Mykhailivna Shvets and Tetyana Oleksandrivna Cherkashina, Associate Professors of the Department of Philosophy, Sociology and Social Work, took part in the program " Stude Tours to Poland" ("Study tours to Poland", Support for the improvement and/or opening of new areas of training and educational programs in the field of social sciences and humanities in relocated universities (Warsaw (Poland))
The purpose of the visit:
• Support of internally displaced Ukrainian universities in the development of content and meaningful preparation of new educational programs: at the master's level and short forms of education (training, postgraduate education), in areas related to the current problems of Ukrainian society in a state of war - social psychology, psychology of war , psychological rehabilitation and resocialization of veterans, social work and care of servicemen and their families, social policy, urban planning and cultural studies.
• Providing opportunities for Ukrainian higher education institutions that are in a difficult situation to establish cooperation at the level of individual scientists and educational areas, as well as to receive substantive support from Polish higher education institutions in the preparation, implementation and implementation of various forms of education, to familiarize themselves with modern teaching methods and receive didactic and mentoring support.
The introduction of new educational programs and short forms of training is an urgent need of Ukrainian society, as there is a great need for qualified specialists who will be able to provide professional assistance in matters of psychological and social assistance, reintegration of servicemen and support of their families.
Participants: 19 people from 6 universities selected by the Fulbright Program in Ukraine on a competitive basis, including rectors, vice-rectors and persons responsible for the quality of education.

On March 27, 2024, a final conference on industrial practice was held for applicants of the second (master's) level of higher education in the "Social Work" specialty. The event was attended by Darya Domanchuk, the head of the practice base of the Social and Psychological Service of KSU, the dean of the Faculty of Psychology, History and Sociology, Professor Iryna Shaposhnikova, and the head of the Department of Philosophy, Sociology and Social Work, Professor Serhiy Kostyuchkov. As Darya Domanchuk noted, all applicants submitted the necessary materials for the assessment on time and in full and demonstrated a sufficient level of theoretical training. Reporting on the results of practice, the winners indicated that the new skills and abilities they acquired will serve as the basis for a deeper mastery of professional qualities and competencies necessary for further professional growth.

We study the European experience
Associate Professor of the Department of Philosophy, Sociology and Social Work Tetyana Cherkashina took part in the two-day training "Study of the European experience of implementing quality management systems for educational services", which was organized by the National University "Lviv Polytechnic" and held on March 14-15, 2024 in a mixed format. The event discussed the need to introduce modern quality management standards in Ukraine, presented innovations and best practices in education quality management in Europe, and the possibilities of their implementation in Ukraine.

Educational tour to Poland
Our colleagues - Professor Iryna Shaposhnikova, Dean of the Faculty of Psychology, History and Sociology, Head of the Department for Quality Assurance of Education, Associate Professor Tetyana Cherkashina, and Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Psychology, History and Sociology, Associate Professor Tetyana Shvets - took part in the Educational Tour to of Poland for representatives of relocated higher education institutions of Ukraine.
"We are working on the development and opening of new educational programs and courses related to the current problems of Ukrainian society in a state of war. These are areas of social psychology, psychology of war, psychological rehabilitation and resocialization of veterans, social work and care of servicemen and their families, social policy."

Improving knowledge on creating an academically virtuous educational environment
Scientific and pedagogical staff of the department took part in the webinar "Academic Integrity: Challenges, Problems and Prospects", which was held on March 6 at the initiative of Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University.
The webinar revealed current issues of academic integrity, in particular, the application and improvement of legislation on ensuring academic integrity and current challenges at the beginning of 2024, as well as global trends in combining the capabilities of artificial intelligence with compliance with academic integrity standards.

On March 12, 2024, the Department of Philosophy, Sociology and Social Work held a career orientation event "Let's get to know each other", the purpose of which was to introduce potential higher education applicants to Kherson State University, the Faculty of Psychology, History and Sociology and the Department of Philosophy, Sociology and Social Work. Among those invited were: the head of the social and psychological service of KhSU Daria Sergiyivna Domanchuk, representatives of the press service of KhSU, as well as heads of educational institutions in Kherson and the region, teachers, parents of future students and students of graduating classes.
Professor Iryna Shaposhnikova, Dean of the Faculty of Psychology, History and Sociology, addressed the meeting participants with a welcoming speech. The guarantors of the educational programs "Sociology" and "Social Work" Tetyana Cherkashina and Tetyana Shvets informed the guests about the advantages and prospects of the specialties presented by the department, their significance in the further development of Ukraine. The organizers answered the questions raised by interested persons. Such events have become a good tradition at the Faculty of Psychology, History and Sociology and the Department of Philosophy, Sociology and Social Work.

On March 7, 2024, as part of the industrial practice of the second master's degree holders of the specialty 231 Social work of full-time and part-time education, the head of the practice Shaposhnikova Iryna Vasylivna, a meeting was held in the Zoom application with Dmytro Valentinovych Mutsenko - director of the Kherson Regional Center of Social Services for Family and Children and youth, a stakeholder of the OPP Social work. The event was attended by the head of the social and psychological service of KhSU Daria Serhiyivna Domanchuk, teachers of the department of philosophy, sociology and social work Gurich Volodymyr Oleksiyovych, Kostyuchkov Serhiy Karpovich, Polishchuk Iryna Evgeniyivna, Shvets Tetyana Mykhailivna, Cherkashina Tetyana Oleksandrivna. During the meeting, Dmytro Valentinovych spoke in detail about the structure and nature of the activity of the institution headed by him, about the challenges and difficulties that accompany the work of the center under martial law. The story of D.V. aroused the special interest of those present. Mutsenko about the activity of the center during the temporary occupation of Kherson. At the end of the meeting, Dmytro Valentinovych answered the numerous questions of those present and wished future specialists in the field of social work success in their studies and further professional activities.

On February 27, 2024, as part of the industrial practice for students of higher education of the second (master's) level of full-time studies in the Social Work specialty, the head of the practice, Professor I. V. Shaposhnikova, introduced future specialists to the activities of the Territorial Center for Social Services of the Dnipro District of the City of Kyiv "Rusaniv Department of Social Assistance home". The head of the Territorial Center Vozniuk T. A. not only conducted a virtual tour of the institution managed by her, but also spoke about the peculiarities of its activities in wartime conditions. The event was also attended by the head of the socio-psychological service of Kherson State University, D. S. Domanchuk, teachers of the Department of Philosophy, Sociology and Social Work, T. M. Shvets and S. K. Kostyuchkov, students of other courses and forms of education in the Social Work specialty, who expressed interest in the organization of providing social services to citizens who need special attention from the state and society.
