On November 6, 2020, students of the department together with the Kherson City Center of Social Services for Families, Children and Youth took part in the social action "Help". The action is aimed at helping and supporting women victims of domestic violence who are in the Kherson Crisis Center for Victims of Domestic Violence.

On December 19, 2017, students majoring in "Social Work" prepared and participated in the social action "Give a child a holiday" for children - patients of the Kherson Regional Children's Tuberculosis Hospital and Oleshkivsky orphanage and took part in the social action "St. Nicholas walks the planet" (social fairy tale) for students and pupils of Kherson NEC №51 them. O. Potemkin, Kherson Secondary School №9, Kherson Kindergarten №85.
