The response to the challenges of the modern world is the national education of students, the main purpose of which at the School is to form a conscious citizen - a patriot of the Ukrainian state, through the acquisition by the younger generation of national consciousness, active citizenship, and high moral qualities. Effective forms and methods of working with students are used in extracurricular activities.

Through various projects, workshops, or just warm communication, the School's volunteers invest their love and energy in developing the spiritual and emotional potential of children in need of attention and care.

The creative potential of students is realised in faculty amateur art groups. Annual festivals and competitions allow students to demonstrate their aesthetic taste and promote a high culture of behaviour. For example, the students of the School have repeatedly won prizes in vocal and choreographic competitions and festivals not only at the university level but also in the city (Young Wave, Young Ukraine, etc.).
Promoting a healthy lifestyle among students, the Student Council, together with the faculty leadership, engages students in various sports sections and clubs created and led by leading KSU specialists. Students take part in various sports competitions, such as the traditional Golden Autumn cross-country race (in memory of the former rector of the university, Professor O. Mishukov), the Sports Day, etc.
Every year, on the occasion of International Students' Day, the best students of the faculty are awarded with diplomas of the KSU Rectorate for excellent academic achievements, active scientific and social work.
