This is the first meeting with the initiative group, which explained the key changes and answered questions and considered proposals. Adoption of changes to the branch law is very important for us because the services of our library have long gone beyond the traditional framework. We work ahead of time and often resolve issues situationally. A very important point for special libraries, to which our library belongs, is the fact that we are simultaneously guided by laws and regulations of the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine and the Ministry of Education and Science, in connection with than sometimes we cannot find an unambiguous answer to our questions. At the same time, we understand that laws cannot regulate absolutely all issues that arise in the course of our activities, so libraries retain the right to independently determine the content, directions and forms of their activities.
