On February 2-4, 2024, Kyiv hosted the Ukrainian Athletics Championship among adults and youth and the Ukrainian Team All-Around Championship among adults, youth, and juniors indoors.410 athletes from 23 regions took part in the competition, including 4 honored masters of sports of Ukraine, 27 masters of sports of Ukraine of international class and 83 masters of sports of Ukraine.
In addition, during the opening ceremony, the best judges of Ukraine according to the results of 2023 were awarded. In particular, the award of "Best Referee" was awarded to Oleksandr Edelev, Associate Professor of the Department of Olympic and Professional Sports of KSU - Oleksandr Edelev!
At the solemn opening ceremony, Acting President of FLAU Olha Saladukha noted that over the course of three days, athletes will compete not only for medals, but also for tickets to the World Indoor Championships, which will be held from March 1 to 3 in Glasgow.
