On March 2, a meeting of the students of our faculty with representatives of the Center for Spiritual Support of Persons with Special Needs "Emmaus" was held.
On March 2, 2017, at the initiative of the NGO "Sunny Children of Kherson Region", a meeting with representatives of the Center for Spiritual Support of Persons with Special Needs "Emaus" (Lviv) was held at our faculty. Students of the specialties "Correctional Education" and "Human Health" took part in the meeting. Guests from Lviv conducted an educational presentation on "Peculiarities of communicating with people with special needs." With great interest, students listened to the stories of Nadezhda Nedilnaya and Nadezhda Kalachova about the experience of the "Emaus" Center in the organization of accompanying and supporting people with special needs, providing opportunities to take part in cultural and social life, and expanding social ties. Particularly admired by the listeners was the masterful performance of the poems by Roman Maksimovich.
