On June 12, a meeting with students of 331 and 321 groups took place. The purpose of the meeting is an exam in Practical English Grammar. Hlavatka Yu.L. reported that the final grade received by the student consists of three components: the arithmetic mean for all types of work, the analysis of a simple sentence and the analysis of complex and complex sentences. Some students automatically received grades with which they agreed. The rest of the students were interviewed. The teacher asked 2 questions of theoretical and practical direction. All students passed the exam.

On June 9, 2020, the first exam in Practical Phonetics of the English Language was passed in group 121. The exam was conducted by Assoc. Hlavatka Yu.L. All students got in touch. Students spoke words, phrases and sentences, emphasizing the correct articulation of a sound. A number of dialogues that students studied during the semester were also reconstructed. The last stage of the exam was reading individual passages of literary texts with an emphasis on correct intonation and pronunciation of words.

The exam was held in two stages: the first question concerned theoretical issues, which were presented in the electronic text of lectures and presentations; the second question concerned the problems of perspective qualification work. All students diligently prepared for the exam. The examiner took into account the grades for self-performance, the grade for testing and the answer during the exam.

Topic of the lecture: "Communicative situations of interethnic interaction in mass media discourse". The lecture was presented in Power Point format. The lecturer focused on cooperative and conflict-generating situations of interethnic interaction in the media texts of the American and British media.

Hlavatka Yu.L. outlined a step-by-step registration algorithm for compiling exams, submitting documents, important dates. Hlavatka Yu.L. also congratulated all students on the successful results of the Unicheck unification test. The issue of submitting qualification works and accompanying documents to the department was also discussed.
