Congratulations on the day of knowledge !!!

On August 27, 2020, at the Academic Council of the University, Darya Malchykova, Professor of the Department of Geography and Ecology, was thanked for her conscientious and long-term work as the Head of the Department of Socio-Economic Geography !!!

Today our students: Alina Zin, Alina Vynnyk, Gleb Vinnychenko conducted a thematic tour: "Cult buildings of the city of Kherson".
The topic of religion is not easy and always causes a lot of discussion!
uninhabited areas of the steppe region in the hope of creating a Greek empire. The neighborhood of modern Gretska, Teatralna, Ushakova avenues, today creates the city center of the so-called "Greek city center".

On June 2, an online meeting of teachers of geography of Kherson region with Darya Serhiivna Malchykova, Doctor of Geographical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Socio-Economic Geography of Kherson State University and young teachers of Kherson region took place.

One of the most interesting educational and field practices in tourism and local lore has begun! 🌱Today we visited the Botanical Garden of Kherson State University as a recreational object of natural and anthropogenic origin!

Master's student Anastasia Markelyuk, received a letter of thanks from the National
Police of Ukraine for the organization and conduct of socio-geographical
research aimed at identifying the needs of Kherson in public
space.

The textbook "Methodological principles of geography" has been published - the result of many years of work on reforming modern geographical science and education!

An interesting lecture for masters of geography was conducted by the dean of the faculty Igor Pylypenko together with graduate student Victoria Bogadiorova.

Congratulations to Alexei Zakharov on receiving the diploma of the second degree according to the results of the All-Ukrainian competition of student scientific works in geography!

11/28/2019 10th grade students of 24 schools, Kherson, came to the faculty!
