On March 10, 2021, the Kherson State University hosted the Regional meeting of the Councils of Young Scientists of the Kherson Region, which was attended by graduate students of the Department of Ukrainian Philology and Journalism. Tamara Mandych, a postgraduate student of the second year of studies, as the head of the Scientific Society of Students, Postgraduate Students, Doctoral Students and Young Scientists of KSU, presented the main achievements of the university society. And Oksana Popkova, a graduate student of the third year of studies, shared her impressions of the face-to-face participation in the First Winter School of a Young Scientist, which was conducted by the Council of Young Scientists at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. The event was attended by Olesya Vashchuk - head of the Council of Young Scientists at the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ukraine, and representatives of the Councils of Young Scientists of 4 other higher education institutions of the Kherson region.

Нове видання – це праця, в якій систематизовано 1000 слів – метафор, порівнянь, перифраз, персоніфікацій і фразеологізмів, які аспірантка досліджує під керівництвом доцента Олени Карабути. Робота слугує апробацією дисертаційного дослідження та підсумком багаторічного аналізу мовних одиниць.

23 вересня 2020 року на виборній конференції Наукового товариства студентів, аспірантів, докторантів і молодих учених Херсонського державного університету Тамару Мандич було обрано головою Наукового товариства! За це рішення проголосували делегати всіх факультетів. 

Аспірантка кафедри української філології та журналістики І року навчання Тамара Мандич нагороджена дипломом ІІІ ступеня та грошовою премією за дослідження з теми "Концепт РЕВОЛЮЦІЯ ГІДНОСТІ у сучасній пісенній творчості".

Проєкт ініціював перший проректор Херсонського державного університету, професор Сергій Омельчук.

Шості міжнародні наукові читання пам’яті члена-кореспондента НАН України Юрія Олександровича Карпенка: до 90-річчя від дня народження (1929-2009) відбулися в Одесі 26-27 вересня 2019 року.
